This is the second class I took in Kit and Clowder (as you can see the first one was Skin and Hair). I am so happy that I took this classes. In this class you can learn so many different things. It is not only about to color shadows and pleats, you learn how to create different effects, patterns, transparencies... Alyce's videos and book are very explanatory and the feedback one on one is definitely the best took to keep improving. I highly recommend this class.

I have for the last couple of months had a fantastic experience.....into the World of colors and shadow. I had no idea of highlight, midtown and shadowing before. When I bought my first Copic pen, I bougth two blue, two red etc. By chance I found a real fantastic picture on Facebook made by someone who attended Skin and Hair Class, I joined that class and bought a lot of new pen and a whole new world opened up!!! The response from Alyce came quickly when I submitted my picture.

Before taking the Perfect Pencil class I was using water color pencils and Prismacolor pencils to achieve some shading and smoothness. I decided to take the class to see if I could learn anything new about using pencils. My mind was blown away with the class. I was always afraid to add anything extra to the images, like extra lines to show folds, noses, hair, etc. I absolutely LOVED this class and what I learned from it.

After this AMAZING class, I finally know how to use my Copics and get that depth and structure in my coloring. I'm so happy I took this class! I've really learned a lot throughout the exercises. They cover EVERYTHING so I don't feel like there's something missing :) It's great to have videos to watch instead of just reading. I've colored along on my exerises to many of the videos. Alyce is the BEST teacher ever! :) If you haven't bought the class yet, DO IT NOW! You won't regret it, I promise!

The Skin & Hair Class really is fantastic!! I was brand new to Copic last year when I found Kit & Clowder & signed up for the Skin & Hair Class. Looking back I really have had an amazing year learning how to colour and I have also learnt so much about myself as an artist. All of the written material is clearly written and everyone can understand & follow along with, and the videos are enjoyable & relaxing to watch. The level of expertise & attention to detail that Alyce gives is amazing.

After getting a hang of how to use my markers, this one was easier to follow for me than the Hair and skin class. There were so many techniques explained that I did not think about before and it was so much fun. I really learned a lot and I see such improvement, the image seems so much more alive with the techniques I have learned in this class. Alyce is the best teacher I know and so kind and when I had the hiccups, she encouraged me to hang in there and keep practicing.

It is my first one class that I wished to work because it is the element the most important in a colouring for me. This asked me for a lot of work because being French I do not understand everything in English but nevertheless I understood the approach, the technique to be had. I appreciated to colorize and thanks to your classes it became a big passion. This class is very well made, I recommend to the people to join. The next one will be hair and skin.

I am so happy with my results after taking the Skin & Hair class! While I still have room for improvement and practice will help with that, I have learned how to tackle an image with confidence. I feel like I know how to go about coloring an image, even if my skill level is not perfect yet. Alyce is a wonderful teacher, and she is very supportive and encouraging to everyone. I enjoyed reading her feedback on my classroom exercises, that is really what makes her classes so special.

I am so very happy that I decided to take the Clothing Class at Kit and Clowder. I can't even tell you what a difference it has made in my work. It's hard to believe that they were both colored by the same person- but they were! Alyce has a tremendous wealth of knowledge and talent and is so helpful with the classes. Her feedback has been so helpful, and it's wonderful to have unlimited access to the classroom videos so that I can continue to practice and improve even more.

This class was amazing! It covered pleats and folds, sequins, patterns, neon, texture and dip-dyed to name a few! I don't look at a stamp the same way anymore, its all about what kind of dimension I can add, to add interest to my coloring. I can't say Thank You enough, this has really made me want to color again as it is so much more Fun!!

This class was amazing. My main goal was to learn to use my Copics. I learned that and them some. I learned about the coloring community and how its really there for you no matter what. Alyce's feedback is right on and detailed, it really made a difference in my learning. The most important part is to practice, practice, practice! I love coloring now more than ever! I look now at some of my images and say: "Wow, I did that!!!" Thanks for an awesome learning experience.

This is the best Copic class I have every taken. Alyce walks you through many different hair types and styles as well as skin and shadows. You can upload as many or as little images for feedback as you progress through the class. The feedback is outstanding and helps you on your journey. I'm going to take ALL her classes!!

I feel that taking these classes was the best investment I could make in myself. I believe that it has really taken my coloring skills to the next level and made all the difference in my card creations. My goal is to someday be on a design team for a stamp company and I felt that I'd never be able to achieve the level of coloring that I needed to reach that goal on my own. Taking this class has improved my Skin & Hair coloring 10-fold.I would highly recommend the Skin & Hair class to anyone.

For anyone who, like me, used to look at the fabulously eye catching coloured digi stamps in magazines and on-line and think, 'I could never do anything like that', well this is proof that you can! The Kit and Clowder Clothing Class has helped me achieve my ambition of being able to colour the intricate folds and different clothing styles and fabric textures that making my cards looks so much more interesting :)

So I took this class to see if I could learn a few tips, not really expecting much. I have been to multiple Copic classes, including the certification classes. I will say that I learned more than any other class... More than all my other classes combined actually. This class has CHANGED the way that I color. I will be honest - I thought I colored fairly well before. I feel like I was a hack before. :-)I have learned to add much more depth and NOT be afraid of the darker tones.

When I first found Alyce and her classes, I was skeptical that one class could change how I colour so much.. But it has!! I can not tell you how awesome this class is or how supportive and inspiring Alyce is. So if you are in the bucket with the rest of skeptics, climb out and give it a go!! what a journey. like most of the clowdies i have had my ups and downs. struggling, self doubting and amazement of what i have achieved. i now have the tools to continue with my colouring and it is all thanks to a great tutor. the classes are well laid out for anyone to follow with lesson 8 bring it all together. as for my before and after photo's all is there to see. thanks a million Alyce

First I want to thank Alyce for a great class, I loved every bit of that. When I started this class I didn't have any knowledge of lightsource, color combos, feather flick, technique breakdown and more. But I have learned an incredible amount, the video´s are very informative and quick response to photos and questions from Alyce. I highly recommend this class with all my heart.

As you can see, I had some basic coloring, but after going through the Clowder Skin/Hair class, there has been tremendous progress. I'm able to recognize cast shadows much better, and am able to separate the hair strands to make them appear true to life.I can't tell you how immensely I've appreciated all of the feedback Alyce gives. I used to think I was an okay colorist, but after taking the, I feel confident in saying "I'm a good colorist" without feeling like I'm bragging about it.

This is my first class that I purchased & finished because I wanted to know how to do pleats & folds effectively. I was very impressed with how simple all of the techniques were broken down and how easy they were explained in plain English for anyone to understand. You will not only learn numerous different types of pleats (who knew there was more than one!) there are many other specific techniques taught (like leather & sheer fabric too). You can only improve with this class!

I have learnt so much from this class and the proof is in the before and after photos. I thoroughly enjoyed doing the class and was really pleased with the feedback from Alyce. I must say that I started out thinking I was a pretty good colourist but honestly looking at my befor and after wow. Alyce is patient, helpful and honest when it comes to our work. She tells you what you can't or won't tell your self. I truly love taking this class and would highly recommend it to anyone that would like to improve. I don't make things often with my art but I love to colour and has been a great experience. Alyce thank you so much for everything over this whole journey.

With Alyce's help, I believe that I've found my real inner "artist". Alyce has guided me kindly and patiently to where I am today, and her never ending encouragement and support urged me to do my best all the time. Being a part of Kit and Clowder is not just a matter of colouring. It's a way of life.

Loved, loved, loved this class! Was a great class to follow up the skin and hair. It was amazing to learn sooo many different techniques and although i still have a lot more practise to do the fundamentals are now there in place. Well, the animal class was not the first class I joined, but never enjoyed a class more than this one. I love colouring animals and this class provides so many lovely animals to colour. So many things I have learned and so worth while. I can recommend the class to everyone who is interested in colouring animals, so worth the money. This has been an amazing class! My colouring has improved so much after taking this class. I used to be so scared to colour images with detailed clothes and now, most of the time, i´m ready take on the challenge. I´m actually starting to enjoy colouring now after taking these classes. I have been colouring for approx. 9 months now. I was getting frustrated with myself, I had spent so much money on all these lovely copics and discovered, the tools will not make you an artist. The only thing is lessons and practise. I had purchased many lessons and tutorials and watched hours and hours of youtube. All I had to do was discover Alyce Keegan and I was on the road to success.

I am struggle with my colouring. I search youtube and learn nothing. Them i stumbled on one of alyce quick video..and really impressed! Stalked her on mr.google, and found her on facebook. Heaven smile to me when she is doing an online class..i immediately sign up and it was amazing! There are pdf tutorial, exercises, videos and even one on one feedback with alyce herself! I really recommend her class to any beginners out there.
